State Fair

Over the past 4 years the Cultural Destinations Boutique at the Minnesota State Fair created a vibrant space for culture, commerce and community. In the 2026 State Fair the Cultural Destinations Boutique is at the International Bazaar – a business incubator for small businesses seeking access to the Fair. Products from 15 businesses will be featured at the boutique. See “Events” section for the September 6, Celebration – Many Rhythms. One Celebration – A Festival of Festivals.

World Music Series

Bringing the world to the Twin Cities Metro area – Bollywood, Afrobeats, Jazz, Samba and more at the Urban Growler in Saint Paul. With it a small cultural market of vendors were provided a market for their products. This model expands to the Minnesota State Fair in 2026 where Many Rhythms, One Celebration will feature contemporary music and dance lessons – from Bollywood to Reggae and a Culture Lab, showing visitors how to enjoy cultural products and services.

Discover the music, dance, food, art, and traditions that make our communities vibrant. Listen to contemporary global sounds—from Afrobeats, Reggae, Salsa, Samba, K-Pop, Bollywood, and Hip-Hop to Eastern European folk and world fusion—then step onto the dance floor and learn the moves from local dancers. Explore interactive Culture Labs, meet artists, chefs, and storytellers, create community art, and leave with fresh ideas to bring more style, flavor, joy, and cultural inspiration into your everyday life. Our festival partners – Little Africa Fest by AEDS, Fiesta Latina by CLUES, Slavic Experience & International Fest. Our global music partners, Peewee Dread, Cider Dance Team, Indus Music, Roda de Samba Brasil with S and others.
