State Fair
Over the past 4 years the Cultural Destinations Boutique at the Minnesota State Fair created a vibrant space for culture, commerce and community. It was a business incubator for around a hundred small businesses to learn how to access one of the largest markets in the Midwest. The boutique came alive with an collaborative art canvas where hundreds participated, a pop up Culture is Cool fashion show and world music and dance.
World Music Series
Bringing the world to the Twin Cities Metro area – Bollywood, Afrobeats, Jazz, Samba and more at the Urban Growler in Saint Paul. With it a small cultural market of vendors were provided a market for their products. This model expands to the Minnesota State Fair in 2026 where Many Rhythms, One Celebration will feature contemporary music and dance lessons – from Bollywood to Reggae and a Culture Lab, showing visitors how to enjoy cultural products and services.
